GWM Haval Jolion: 2023 Review

The GWM Haval Jolion is a compact SUV produced by the Chinese automaker Great Wall Motors (GWM). The Jolion is designed to be a practical and affordable family SUV, aimed at competing with vehicles such as the Mazda CX-30, Toyota C-HR, and Subaru XV in the Australian market.

Performance

The GWM Haval Jolion is powered by a 1.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine that produces 110kW of power and 210Nm of torque, paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The Jolion’s acceleration is smooth and responsive, with a 0-100km/h time of around 9 seconds. The handling is nimble, with good manoeuvrability around corners and tight spaces. The overall driving experience is comfortable and refined, making it suitable for both city and highway driving.

Design
